On-site caricature service at Mt. Faber.

Event: Asean Youth Festival-Opening Ceremony.
Date of event: 29 July 2008 Tuesday.
Venue: Faber Rock @ Jewels Box,Mt. Faber,Singapore.
Duration: 1 hour (6.00pm to 8.00pm).
Average drawing speed: 2.5 minutes per head.

Mt. Faber is where tourists board cable cars to & from the Sentosa Resort Island. Doing an event there is like going on tour as the scenery is great. While drawing,I could enjoy the views overlooking The Sentosa Island as well as the city skyline. The name Mount Faber sounds like a huge mountain but the journey from ground zero to the top was only a 3-minute drive. The highest ground in Singapore is like a hill to me as I'm from Malaysia where there are lots of huge mountains. The event was held on the 2nd. floor where the gazebo is.I managed to snap a few shots of the scenery before & after the event.

On arrival at the main entrance.

The stage with all the infomation of the event.

The mediterranean style beverage counter.

The scenery overlooking the Sentosa Island with cable cars in the foreground.

The cultural dance perfomance by some Indonesian youth.

The hip-hop dance perfomance.

A picture taken with the dance troupe leader.

Hey,somebody familiar was there too.She is the lady boss of 77th.Street shop in Far East Plaza.

Just before we went off,we roam around the area & took a pic of this cable car station.

The souvenir shop around the corner.

Bye,bye Jewel Box.

On the way down to the carpark, the night scenery was something you can enjoy.
