Wedding Caricature.

A4 size wedding caricature done from photographs.
Medium used: Colour marker on white paper.
Type: Face with cartoon body & background.
Client's purpose: Print on wedding invitation card.

This is one of my most popular design for those who want a car & background in their caricature. The car I proposed is no ordinary car but a sweet pinkish classical Rolls Royce that creates a romantic mood.

On-site Caricature Drawing Service.

Event: Pre-wedding Dinner.
Date of event: 19 Nov 2011 (Saturday).
Venue: Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore.
Duration: 6.30pm to 7.30pm (1 hour).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.

Another job in which my caricaturist friend Jit got me to partner him for a pre-wedding dinner for KS & Angeline. Most of the guests who spoke Cantonese were from southern China. I suppose they flew here just to attend this wedding event of their relative. An hour gig without anything unusual except that the lady emcee spoke in Cantonese instead of English during the rehearsal on stage.

The signnage that greeted us.

Individual caricature for Kraft.

A3 size individual caricature done from photograph.
Medium used: Colour-pencil on white paper.
Type: Face with cartoon body & background.
Client's purpose: Farewell gift.

On behalf of the company, a staff from Kraft did this caricature as a farewell gift for a colleague who was leaving the Singapore office. She was transfered back to Melbourne, Australia, so some images of Singapore as well as Melbourne were being included in it. As requested, the subject was drawn in a cable car with the 'Kraft' logo on it & waving goodbye while holding the Aussie flag.

Portraits of old people.

A4 size portraits of old folks done from photographs.
Medium used: Charcoal stick on white paper.
Client's purpose: For memory sake.

Relatives of both the subjects who passed away some time ago came to do charcoal portraits for remembrance purpose. Photographs of the subjects which they provided were taken in small groups during family gatherings. My job was to draw them individually using the charcoal medium so that they could have them framed up & hung on their wall.

On-site caricature drawing service for Great Eastern D&D.

Event: Great Eastern Dinner & Dance 2011 .
Date of event: 12 Nov 2011 (Saturday).
Venue: Ritz Carlton, Singapore.
Duration: 5.30pm to 6.30pm (1 hour).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.

My caricaturist friend, Jit, sought my service to do the manual caricature drawing while he did the digital caricature using his ipad. Ivan & his brother were there too doing the body art.
During the session, I was seated at an awkward position & it affected my work a little. Luckily it was only an one-hour gig otherwise my legs would be numb after the session.
