Medium used: Watercolour on white paper.
Client's purpose: Personal collection.
This portrait was done from an old black & white passport photo. The client wanted it to be done in colour & willing to pay 50% more so that she could keep it as memory of how she looked like during her childhood.
The colours used were based on my imagination. The difficulty level of this type of work is of course higher than those done from coloured photos. The imaginary skin tone is important & must be accepted by the clients, especially those who are very particular in skin colour. Definitely not an easy job...
