Photography- Malay Cultural Perfomance.

On the Sunday night of 26th Oct 2008, I went for a photo taking session with my photography kaki, Henry, around the padang. With our cameras in hand, we were hunting for something interesting to shoot when we reached the premises of the Esplanade. While walking along the path, we heard some music that came from the open stage. When we approached it, what we saw was a performance with colourful costumes. Immediately, we sat in front of the stage & started shooting happily. The stage lighting was very strong & we could freeze the motion of the dancers with a shutter speed of 1/250 without using the flash light. It was 11.30pm then & we spent almost an hour there before moving to another area.
