This painting was done in 2002.It has since being displayed at my shop as one of the main features & admired by those who know Sean.He used to be my childhood hero during the 70s, playing James Bond.When I saw the picture from a magazine,it immediately gave me the inspiration to paint.
It is always my interest to draw or paint old people with lots of wrinkles & creases as well as beards.The kick is the challenge to get the effect.Once it's done,I feel very satisfied & keep looking at it again & again without being sick of it.I can say that this is one of my best oil painted celebrity portraits so far.
