Date of event: 29 Apr 2012 (Sunday).
Venue: Valentino Italian Restaurant & Jalan Bingka Singapore.
Time: 9pm.
I received a last minute call from the Four Seasons Hotel asking for my service to draw one of their VIP family guests at a Restaurant somewhere in Bukit Timah area. The family from India wanted a special gift to celebrate the birthday as well as a memory for the head of family Juan Carlos while they were dining.. As it was too difficult to draw while they were chatting, I suggested to take individual photographs of them so that I could work on a separate table next to them using my laptop & tools which I brought along. Initially, they expected the drawing to be completed there & then but the restaurant was closing at 10.30pm means that it was not enough time for me to finish a full colour-marker piece. Luckily, the guest paid me in advance before telling me to complete it at home & deliver to the hotel the next day.
