On-site caricature drawing service.
Event: RCBJ (Rotary Club) Fellowship.
Date of event: 6 Aug 2011 (Saturday).
Venue: 541 Upper Changi Road, Singapore.
Duration: 6.00pm to 10.00pm (4 hours).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.
I was engaged as the sole entertainer of a gathering among the commitee members of the Rotary Club at a house near the Kembangan MRT Station. The client made a booking for a 3-hour service but extended my service for one more hour due to popular demand,I guess. My working station was at the dining hall in the house instead of the back garden at which the gathering was held. There were some distraction though simply because the commitee members were having a meeting on the same dining table where I was seated but no big deal as I'm used to this type of atmosphere in many of my on-site jobs.
In this job, I was given some papers of pre-drawn cartoon bodies by another artist so that I could draw just the head of the guests on them but most of the guests prefered couple caricature drawn without the bodies.
After the tiring session, I was treated with a delicious buffet dinner or rather supper ;)
The pink one is the venue.
Here are 7 of my caricatures for your viewing.
The end of the dining table was my working station.

Client's purpose: Father's Day Gift.
The lady client got a good idea to do this humorous caricature for her husband. It was given to him by their 2 daughters as a gift on Father's Day. Upon seeing the result of the caricature during collection, the client kept laughing & I felt that this was another successful piece I've done ;)

On-site caricature drawing service for wedding solemnisation event.
Event: Wedding Solemnisation.
Date of event: 3 July 2011 (Sunday).
Venue: Coronation Walk, Off Bukit Timah Road, Singapore.
Duration: 12.00pm to 2.30pm (2.5 hours).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.
Once again my friend Jit sought my service to partner him for this wedding event on a fine Sunday afternoon. Both of us met up for lunch at the nearby Adam Rd Hawker Centre before starting work in a nice house that has a lift in the dining hall.
After drawing a few guests, we were being stopped for the solemnisation event that took about half an hour. Our session was supposed to end at 2.00pm but the client extended our service for half an hour more due to popular demand, I guess ;)
The main entrance of the venue.
Both of us were entertaining the guests in the dining hall.
Start with the wedding couple, here are some of my caricatures for your viewing.
The bridegroom from Germany & the bride from Singapore.
The ringing moment.
