Client's purpose: Gift of love.
The female client wanted a caricature to remember the first kiss with her boyfriend. The background was actually an HDB compound where they had that 1st kiss. It's a rare request to have it drawn this way as both their faces were not facing front but side. I was a bit worried that she would complaint about the resemblance level which could lead to argument like what I had experienced before. Since that bad experience which happened a few years back, I don't like to draw caricatures of my costomers with side profiles in order to avoid argument later on.
Upon collection of this caricature, I was glad to see from her face that she was happy with my work. Well, she's just another happy customer who walked out of my shop.
